I took my truck to the dealer because i was hearing a whining/ringing noise before upshifts. They basically rebuilt the tranny. Replaced the torque converter selenoid valve body clutches ect. Im not sure if the replaced them all. When i picked the truck up it was still makin noise. I took it back and it was then the ds front wheel hub. Trucks still makin noise around 2000rpms. Service advisor said its air noice around my cai. but its been on 3 yrs and never noticed it before. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance

I know there was a tsb on the liberty crd for a whinning noise and it dealt with the transmission(our trucks share the same trans as the liberty crd) . my truck started doing the same thing and I have thought maybe it was the cai but I started checking tsb and remember my liberty had the same issue and a tsb for that. so the best thing to do is get a different dealership to pull up the tsb for the liberty and have them use the updated parts (torque converter and front pump).

The tranny was recently rebuilt at the dealership. They replaced the torque converter and some of the clutches and solenoid. Not sure why its still makin the noise.
