vibration

Started to notice a vibration on harder accelerations, truck overall seems to be riding rough. Drove farther than usual this weekend and noticed at steady speeds, 55-65 could feel almost like a rythmic mild vibration in the entire truck. Truck driving rougher and bouncier than normal. Any ideas, hoping not a tranny issue.

might be a tire out of round maybe?
if tires check out fine,

could be a ujoint.. try when cruising down the road putting the truck in netural.. does the vibration go away? or change the rpms by shifting down or taking the truck out of Od does the vibration go away again? if yes I'd say ujoint issue.. or

I've also had cars and truck do that type of vibration when they break a motor mount.. I'd check those to be sure they are holding that hemi down

I rotate & balance my tires every 5k miles.
At about 4k miles I start to get a shimmy at 70 -73 mph. never at speeds higher or lower.
After a R & B at Discount, it goes away until appox. 4K miles later.
I just attributed that to throwing weights...

it could be that, if they used the stick on weights

If it is a wheel balance issue use the locator to find a shop near you. http://www.gsp9700.com/
This machine will tell you real quick if it is the problem. Best balancer on the market today.

I go to a Discount Tire but apparently they don't have the gsp9700.
I'll try another nearby that does have one and see if the results change.
Thanks for the info!
