Valve body 545rfe

How does one determine if valve body is acting up. Shifts are very lazy, and I have noticed that if I have overdrive off and get on it from a dig, that when it shifts into last gear (3rd) I believe, and I get up to speed pretty good. Then I go to let off gas, but truck keeps going like I have gas pressed. Feels like something is staying engaged when it shouldn't. It is cmr tuned by Jay Greene. Problem was there before the tuning.

I call that symptom "over run". It can be corrected with tuning but I'd first check for air leaks and do a battery reset. If you can make a datalog that would possibly help.

Vacuum lines/connections. Maybe spray some WD40 around the TB see if idle changes. Un-metered air can cause it to hang.
