Trans stalling

My 04 is starting to act up a bit. When I start it and put it in drive it takes a few seconds for it to get into gear. But if I wait a while go out and start it then put it in 1st it takes right off. Only thing I've done latley is clutch fan deletr which i wouldn't believe would have anything to do with this. The T1000 doesn't show any issues when I run diagnostics. Is there a senor I should ve looking to swap out?

Only use ATF+4, as charged392 said. Doesn't matter what brand, just use ATF+4.

The power steering also uses ATF+4...
