Sonnax line pressure booster worth it? Pro's Con's?

Hi, I have a 04 Ram 4X4 Hemi, What do you guy's know about these?
Are they worth it?
Do they hurt the life of the tranny or do they help it?
Does it change the way it shifts?
Do I need to use the spring? I'd rather wait to add that part when I do the next fluid change if I need it.
Thanks

Line Pressure Booster Kit - RFE-LB1 - Sonnax

Only helps! Spring can be done during a pan service later on

IMO anytime you can do something to make a trans shift tighter and hold the clutches with more pressure is a good thing.

I've used one with no detectable ill effects for 9 years and definitely firmer more positive shifts. A cheap, quick mod IMO .

This is also the new design where as the old one had some quirks and sometimes ruined trans. This design won't hurt the Trans cheap good mod

Not that it changes anything but I believe it's a common broken spring on rebuilds.

I have heard that it should not be used with a Tuner, any of you guys running it with one?

Speaking only from my own experience I've been using the Sonnax with the old 3815 SuperChips set to the performance tune for over nine years now with nothing but excellent results .
