I recently had all the rear end bearings replaced with new 75/140 synth gear oil and was told by the shop owner (a friend of mine) that it would be normal to hear some faint humming from the rear for the next few days, because the bearings are "seating themselves" or something of that nature. Does that sound right to you guys...and if it is...how long before it will go away. I dont feel any vibration in the rear either....

ok.....could you elaborate please. Why would a reputable shop say that if it was wrong. And should there be no noise at all?
