Rear clunk

I have a 2006 Ram Hemi 5.7 sport 4x4. I recently had my exhaust done for a magnaflow muffler and I installed a K&N intake. After doing the exhaust and intake I noticed when slowly accelerating at around 15-20 mph I hear a clunk towards the passenger rear side of truck. It only clunks when the engine is hot and only one time. It does not clunk when decelerating. I never noticed it making the clunk sound before I did the exhaust system. It only hits one time around 15-20 mph when it's about to shift. And it usually only clunks when accelerating slow. What could it be?

Have you checked clearance on the new exhaust system? It's common to have to adjust them after initial installation.

The tip of the exhaust is really close to my truck like finger width. Could it be my transmission? Cause it only happens on the shift around 20 mph.

I would shake the exhaust hard, maybe using your foot to see if there is any noise. Next would be to check Trans and engine mounts.

I will have to.. It's just weird how it didn't do this before I got my exhaust done now it does and only when the engine is hot.

with above - torque engine while braking and see if you can see any movement and/or hear your clunk .

Most exhaust system will expand when hot, so that might be causing your pipe to flex toward a frame member or something.
