Rear Axle Question

How do I figure out if I have the 9.25 or the 9.25ZF axle?
The gears on Moe's Performance say they will not fit the 2011&up with 9.25ZF axle...
I have a 2011 2WD HEMI, what axle do I have?

Thanks,

I found this PDF online.

to tell the difference via the diff cover.

Why is this being misinformed... the 9.25 is NOT a ZF.... only the front diff is ZF.

The 3rd design of the 9.25 which took place between 2003, 2007 and then 2011 is still a 9.25... All they did for the latest was change carrier height or ring location and bolt circle and axle lengths...

THAT IS ALL THAT CHANGED.

. It is not a ZF

Some people...companies should REALLY pay attention.... unbelievable.

Also so you all know... ZF are all IS (Independent Suspension).

They are so complicated the place that made that pdf wouldn't have a CLUE...

Most are friction welded or laser welded gear to carrier...

Again the 9.25 IS NOT A ZF Differential !!!!
