P0868- Next steps?

Good afternoon all,
I was posting about a clunk while downshifting or upshifting and this may be the cause. I noticed yesterday when I was driving it was shuddering at idle creeping speeds.

I have a sonax booster and I just had the pan dropped and filter replaced and new fluid. Also a tune from hemifever. Going to try to remove the tune and the sonax and see if that helps as well. BUT initially I did notice I had the shudder and clunk when I first got the truck last year. Has anyone else had this code and fixed it? Hopefully chareged or hemid up will give their insight

I would first make sure the line booster is plugged in properly. Low line pressure is basically how the boosters fool the TCM into increasing the line pressure. Yours I would guess is not plugged in properly or is of such a value as to draw a low pressure code. read up on line booster's.

I've had it installed for a little and it never threw a code until now? I will take it out and see if I still get it.

Does the predator have any capabilities of logging what the transmission is doing?

If your idle is stumbling and you just had the trans service, I would suspect the filter is not seated properly and sucking air. This may very well also give you a low pressure code.

It did it before the filter and fluid exchange as well. Along with that it jerks when it downshifts and upshifts. Maybe that is normal or is worn engine mounts?

It would be helpful if you listed your truck in your signature so everyone knows what you have. The different years vary more than a lot of folks realize.

not likely the mounts are causing that. if it was doing it before the service its not likely the cause either. sometimes the line boosters can go bad try taking it out clear the code and drive and see if the issue returns and sets a code. if so then you will need to go digging. first thing would be to check the filter in the pan the press in one and the screw on one. if those are both ok you will need a scanner to test the solenoid for regulator performance operation and pump output.

Can my predator do these type of logs for the transmission?

Thank you!!
