new Suncoast 545rfe tranny kit

hey i dont know if any of you guys have seen this, but suncoast is now offering a mega kit and a extreme kit for the 545rfe, both are under a grand for everything! well execept a stall converter, anyway just some FYI.

I'd be wary of this....I had one of the early suncoast kits and the cltches didn't seem to last any longer than the stock ones

Isn't that the company that was working with Sharadon on making better clutches and clutch packs for these transmissions?

well, i spoke to chris at suncoast, i guess these kits are using alot of custom parts in them, its not a "off the shelf" deal, and he said the kits will handle 400+, it wont be available until the next few weeks though. i will try to find out more info at their dyno day this saturday.

How much over 400, cause I am already at that....

hey semo03hemiram, you will have to call them to find out how much above 400, I just read it on their site, i really dont know the fine details.
