#1 and #6 uses the same set of "points" (shunt diode) and is not working apparently in your case.

Correct, I haven't taken one apart and don't know if it can be repaired. But yours maybe a bad solder joint since it corrected itself and then failed again probably due heating up. I don"t believe it is a common problem.. it would be interesting to see if can be resoldered.

So I took the truck to a shop around the corner of me and he couldn't find any broken wires. Whats odd is he's getting a miss on cylinders 1 and 7 not 1 and 6. He gotta do some more testing to find out if they're actually misses. Also, he's getting 2 codes that I wasnt getting with my scanner P2320 and p2322. However, he's thinking it might be sucking air in through the intake so he's gonna look at that as well
