This picture from transmission side drive shaft(400 miles ago). Is this, dirty area, a sign of a leak?
Thanks.

That's normal seal sweeting woudnt worry about it until it drips on the floor

I just changed mine and the sleeve for the yoke and mine sweats a little bit at every oil change I just wipe all residue off never actually had a drip yet

Thanks. It is good to know. Mine didn't have a drip either. How often differential oil need to be changed? Truck never had to pull anything so didn't have any big load on it. I don't know what to pay attention on drive train. planning to be last owner till junkyard so keep good take care of it.

Good maint practice plugs, diff, trans, coolant(or two years for coolant) every 30k on a hemi truck

Ps/brake every 60k as a preventative not really needed thou

Hoses every 5 years as preventative or run till they blow

Pcv clean every 15k
