installing engine

is it easier to put motor in with or without tranny bolted to engine

I don't do it that even though I could have makes getting it swung up in the rear a pain IMO. I either put trans in first and rest it on the crossmember and then the engine or do the engine and then the trans

Big shop , lots of tools, jacks, and minions to help Engine and trans, Small shop , no Minions to help, For me I Think it's easier to load the engine in, then the trans.
