Ok 03 2500 the trans coolant line just fell off all by its lonesome. Its the top line when looking down on it from the driver side. Is there a tool I need to put it back ? I consider myself to be pretty strong and I'm trying to push it back on but its not going. When doing this it seems as if its about 1 IN to short or maybe its not. I have never had a problem until yesterday with this truck.

Are you talking about the metal line that goes into the trans mission or the cooler in front of the truck

Alright I got that Trans coolant line back on. Now after adding the Tranny fluid its still doing the exactly the same thing it was doing when all of the fluid came out. So looking up re-build kits that aren't so expensive. It had smoke rolling of the fill tube but that went away as I adding the 8th quart of fluid.... Has anything like this ever happened to any one else by chance ?

Smoke out the fill tube means you don't have enough fluid in it and the clutches are burning up never a good thing I myself had trans issues like that on number 5 but now I'm going to be installing number 11 sharadon stage 3

Doesn't sound good thou if you tow alot get a red alto clutch kit

Are you talking about the quick disconnect going to the cooler?
