Hi ppl! Here's what I have: At 47,000 miles,I've developed this vibration that I can't figure out. Sounds like I have huge knobby tires on the front (which I don't). Tires have been rotated and balanced, and there is no shake, shimmy,or pull. How best to isolate this problem? Can you pull the front driveshaft out and drive it like that for a while? I tried going downhill and popping it in neutral, but the vibration is still there. Any thoughts on it? Thanks.

That's what I assume it is. How much play should you feel in them? I can wobble them side to side on both sides. Seems like there should not be that much play that I could move with my hand. But I read elsewhere that they should move freely. The boots have no tears, and with such low mileage,it doesn't seem like they should be bad. Any way to tell for sure it's them? Thanks.

I seem to be having the same problems. Only a slight vibration though. I have slight play in my cv joints (maybe 1/8 inch) side to side. I'm going to try and take it in tomorrow.

Did you ever find out if it was CV Joint or wheel bearings ? Mine grinds now on any slight right turn . No vibration or pull in wheels so I ruled out bearings and assume CV's.

Thanks
