Hemi in 4 cylinder mode HP?

Does anyone know how much Hp the 5.7 Hemi produces in 4 cylinder mode??

Not enough

That's why I turned off MDS. Still get over 20 MPG using all eight cylinders all the time.

Welcome to HTC. Someone will be able to answer your question. There is a lot of hemi-expertise on this site.

Ok. Lol. Just wondering what hp it was in 4 cylinder mode I'm guessing it would be less than half total hp of 395 so probably 160hp or so.. My first MDS. My last Ram was a 4.7.

My guess would be less than a 15% variance in overall mileage and fuel expenditure during a one year period with all other variables being equal...Plus the 'fun-factor' using all 8 is much greater .

Ok sounds good I only drive about 5k a year so the gas $ isn't going to affect me much.. I have MDS turned off..

leave it off unless your highways are 60mph limit then you could deff benefit from having it on. above 60 it wont work so whats the point. city driving it will be in and out so much it gets annoying especially if you have an exhaust it will drone a lot.
