G2 Diff cover 9.25 rear fluid Capicity ? Who's running one?

Hi, I just installed a G2 Diff cover 9.25 rear Does anyone have this cover?what is the fluid Capacity ? G2 says 2.5-3 Qt but they also said it's not a extra capacity cover so I am not sure if I should add more as 2.5 Qt is only about a quart way up dip stick to the full line.

Ill call them again on Monday ( They are closed today ) but I figured Id ask if you guys knew.

It is a nice looking cover ...and it doesn't 'look' like it holds more than a stock cover. On the PML cover I use it takes 3.4 qts. to fill. I would think at least halfway or a little more would be needed...not sure how their dipstick is calibrated. 3qts. should be more than enough...

PS: I see you are using the DTT and I use the same...I'm running Lucas CONVENTIAL 85W-140 not synthetic...supposedly as recommended for the DTT, however others use synthethic or a combination of synthetic and convential with success.

I added 3 Qt total, and I believe it to be between a 1/4 and 1/2 way up the axle tube according to the dipstick and rough estimates. I am hoping that it is the correct level/Amount.

You should be able to measure from a pair of bolt holes to the bottom of the fill hole on your stock cover and see how that compares from the same bolt holes to the full mark on the dipstick of the new cover. Make sure it is not foaming from being too full!

They look sweet, Good Luck!

Yeah, The new cover looks a bit deeper also. It does look nice under there.
