Unhappy Fail to start

ALL I GET IS CLICKING SOUND. I HAVE CHECKED BATTERY, ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, FUZE BOX. I ASSUME IT IS THE STARTER SELONOID. CAN'T SEEM TO BUY SELONOID ALONE SO I'M ASSUMING A NEW OR REBUILT STARTER. UNFORTUNATLY I HAVE READ OTHER THREADS WERE THEY HAVE REPLACED STARTER & STILL SAME PROBLEM. ONE INDIVIDUAL SAID HE HAS TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 8 TIMES & STILL HAS PROBLEM. I'M WAITING FOR PAYDAY & I'LL TRY THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPT. ANYONE ELSE WITH THIS PROBLEM?

Maybe take the starter to your local parts store. Many of them can test both starters and batteries.

Welcome to HTC first off!

Save yourself some money here. Get a little volt meter likely you have one laying around or a test light will work. Near the fuse box taped Into the cable running down to the starter you will find a small single word normally yellow or white wire. This wire is the solenoid trigger wire. Have someone turn the key and check this for power with test light prefer meter make sure it has voltage. Plugged in this wire will read around 7v unplugged should read battery. If that good then go to starter and make sure it has power at starter full battery on big wire. If so key off take a piece of 16 guage or bigger and jump the main wire on the starter to the small pin on the starter under the plug if still clicks starter is bad but a new one.
