diff noob need of help

Im look into getting 4:10 ring and pinion gear set from moes performance, after i lost to a friend with the same truck with 3:92 gears compared to my 3:55 gear. The problem if i get to 4:10 kit installed will it still have a factory lsd in it. Unfortunatly im not very knowledgable about differentials. Any help would be apreciated.

Yes you can keep the LSD your only changing the gear itself.

What speeds do you drive normally? How tall are your tires?

Don't fear the gear!

100KPH is 63mph and your tire's if not a typo about 30" stock would be 33". With the speeds you run at I would definitely recommend 4:56. It would give you a real improvement in acceleration and something around 2200 rpm at speed. I run short 28" tires and a 4:10 gear and at 65mph I'm turning 2150 rpm. My wife's Endeavor is stock and turns higher rpm than my truck. You will most likely see an improvement in mileage with the short gear running in the hemi's sweet spot if you can stay out of the throttle. Good luck...
