Diff cover with a cross brace that applies pressure to the bearing caps?

Im about to change the rear end fluid in my wife's 2004 Ram 1500, and I figured I'd put a diff cover on there so next time, I can just pop the drain plug instead of removing the whole cover.

I thought I saw a cover that had a cross beam of some kind, and it had two screws that applied pressure to the bearing caps? It appeared to actually strengthen the rear end, instead of just looking pretty and holding more fluid.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Nice cover! The fill hole is way to high on that cover. I would be careful not to overfill it.
