Bent driver's side rear axle.

Hey, it's been a while, but I got rid of my 12 and bought a 15 Ram Sport. Anywho, I've already put 4k miles on it in about 3 weeks. Last week the rear started shaking like a tire out of balance or a tire separating. Long story short, the tech at the dealership discovered a bent axle on the left rear. It's a 2wd . Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
Btw, I have pics, but I haven't figured out how to upload them on the mobile site. :-o

That must have been some wheel hop. I've had the whole rear of my truck bouncing on a launch and haven't bent anything. Just saying it isn't easy to bend unless you slide it into a curb sideways. Now that'll do it......

What else could cause it? I'm at a complete loss. Bad run of axles at the plant?

Did you put on new tires or rims when this became noticeable?

I had the tires warranted because I thought it was a tire problem.
