Definitely need to get some sort of locker if you don't have an lsd now. Detroit tru trac is a well known lsd. Unless you like one wheel peel.

Do these trucks typically have LSD? I'm not sure if I do. I think I remember doing a burn out in the rain with both tires spinning. Is there any other way of telling??

Just jack the back end up, and spin the tires. If they both go the same direction, your go. If not, then I'd start shopping for one. Good luck, and tell us what you think of them.

you are better off with the Detroit true trac go to randy's ring and pinion dot com in doing my research on lockers and limited slips the detroit is pretty much maintenance free ,,,according to my mechanic u mite hear an little cheap when turning real tie turns like in parking lots but the advantages out weigh the disadvantages if ur truck came stock with the 3.92 ring gear most likely it is limited slip if it is running the 3.55 gears it is most likely the standard unit u can also contact dodge and have them send u a print out/ build sheet of what was on your truck when it left the factory or the window sticker if u brought it new you can also go to your local dodge dealer and with ur vehicles vin then can tell u as long as it has not been change yet and fyi during my research i found out that eaton makes the Detroit lockers '''''''' I DONT KNOW THAT"""""""" CALL ME STUPID
