545RFE transmission question

i have a 04 with the 545RFE, i have heard alot of people saying not to go WOT with the o/d on, i dont have a o/d button, all throw i do have the tow/haul button,, is it the same, up till now i have went WOT at highway speeds, with the o/d on tranny in regular mode, should i turning the tow haul button on, if i am going to kick down on it, would like some input

With a fairly stock truck it's fine either way it's when there's power that the kick becomes an issue

It's a good idea to turn off O/D when pulling/hauling a load, but if you're just messing around unloaded i don't think it matters...not likely you'll end up in O/D when you've got it floored
