545 and 645RFE question

Hey guys so basically after hours of research I concluded to do my plans right I need to beef up my trans first.

Questions I have but can not find answers to are as follows.

545 vs 645 my understanding is they are almost identical transmissions. What is the best place to find parts for the internals. What's the weak links?

Can I use 545 stall converters?

Thanks!
