4wd disengages under load

Hey anyone else have this issue. When I'm in 4wd all seems fine until i get stuck or have to try and crawl over something the front end completely disengages. Nothing spins No lights pop up and I can hear the t-case engage in 4 hi and 4 low. If I'm booting around at speed the 4wd seems fine as useless as it is. I'm using amsoil in the t-case and royal purple with friction modifier in the diffs. This has been like this since brand new. I would switch out the guts but unfortunately there is nothing available for this terrible front end. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I use 4wd a lot. A lot a lot. Thanks.

When it disengages will it go back in once out of the load or do you have to stop and switch it back in.

it seems if i switch it from 4to 2 to 4 it comes back. If there's a load on it and then none it still stays disengaged. I've wondered if it could be the wiring harness extension from the lift kit. In the winter time the solenoid on the transfer case will freeze, so if i haven't left it in 4wd I gotta hit it with a heat gun for a little bit. Also I remembered when i blew up my front driveshaft since then it doesn't seem like its functioning as well? The shaft can't take speeds of 120mph+ off road Haha. Perhaps my transfer case could have a broken piece in it I'm not aware of. The oil has never had any shavings or sludge in it.

May just be a faulty shift solenoid.
