456 gears

I have a procharged ram and it had 355 gears stock, and I went to 410 would 456 be to much for for me? I've heard 456 are the only way to go.. what would the rpm be at 70 on a 29" tire?

IMO, use whatever gear that allows you to trap at the rpm you want. What rpm are you trapping at? If you want it higher, go with a 4:56.

I would stick to the 4.10s with the size tire you have.

4:10 on 29" is a good combo for many of the trucks and will give a baseline to work from.

Found this chart somewhere. Gives you a good idea of what you will see RPM wise. The attachment is a screenshot and kinda small. It's at the bottom of this website. https://tiresize.com/gear-ratio-calculator/

Actually, this one is probably better and more acurate: https://www.ringpinion.com/calculators/Calc_RPM.aspx

4.56 gets you 118 and around 11.7 in 1/4 at 6500 4.10 gets you up to 135 and 10.3 @ 6500 rpm. So if you want the torque low 12s truck go 4.56 any faster go 4.10

thanks, I might go to 456 since low 12s to high 11s is good for a street truck!
