Hello all; just wanted some thoughts/ideas/advice from those who have towed with this truck. We have a 35 foot camper, used to tow it with the 1500 but needed more payload for tongue weight.... Thoughts/advice?
How much does the camper trailer weigh? What size wheels do you have. Along with the 3:73 gear it ought to tow good. If it is short of power you can always change to 4:10 gear. Is your truck 4x4? My car trailer loaded weighs 6500 lbs. I don't even bother to use the anti-sway bars and tows great.
My camper is 8360 dry, I also have the equalizer weight dist hitch with anti sway... also, i initially posted that i thought i had a transmission cooler, now i'm not sure, i do notice two metal hoses coming out of the tranny, i assume that it what this is, anyway, if it turns out that i don't have one should i get one? I was told not to worry about it
All of them have them it’s just how big is the one you have. Follow the lines and see what you got up there.
