2014 Anti-Spin Differential?

This is my first Question to ask within this Forum.

In about 5 hours-->I and the wife will be driving 3 hours to the dealer to maybe purchase a 2014 Ram SLT Quad Cab 4x4 bighorn.

I have owned a F250 PSD as well as Chevy 4x4 both with Limited Slip Diffs.
Neither was very impressive in Snow-Ice-Mud-Sand.

This new Ram will really never see Muddy Roads nor a lot of Sand. Mostly Snow and Ice. Will be used for some light towing.

My question is-->Is the Dodge Anti-Spin axle anything to brag about?

Thanks SyN

IMO, you will probably not be all that impressed by having it. On the other hand I believe you'll be sorely disappointed by not having it. It's something you shouldn't notice until it's needed.

They all work pretty much the same. I hope to never have a vehicle without it. My Ram has it, as does my Mazda Speed 3.

Besides the fact, they make really cool burn outs.

I bought my 04 an it had an open diff then had a oem LSD unit installed an it helped much with drivability/ traction especially in the rain.

Hi SYn,

The Limited slip on my 2013 works great and you will notice when it kicks in. I can definitely tell when it engages. It pushes to the left just a bit when it first engages.

Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
