America -Then vs Now. It’s Almost Unbelievable

When this article says "It's Almost Unbelievable", they weren't kidding!

Newsweek magazine, on December 27, 1982, in an article entitled, How the Bible Made America, made this revealing statement, “historians are discovering that the Bible, perhaps even more than the Constitution, is our Founding document.”
To understand the core values of a nation, one must simply look to the beliefs set forth during its conception, and, in the case of America, during the transitional years of the American Revolution. Judge for yourself how far we have drifted from the original intent of early Americans. Consider the following:
Then: If a proposed article for the Constitution was not supported by, or rooted in the Bible, it was not considered. In their early writings, many of the Founding Fathers quoted or referenced the Bible nearly four times more than any other source.
Now: The Bible is mocked, ridiculed, and discarded.
Then: First introduced in 1766, William Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Laws, served as the legal reference for the Founders, as well as for many early American lawyers. Blackstone’s commentaries were deeply rooted in biblical principles. It’s been said that Blackstone was the first to use the phrase, “the laws of nature and of nature’s God.”
Now:“It is unconstitutional for students to see the Ten Commandments since they might read, meditate upon, respect, or obey them.” Stone v. Graham, 449 U.S. 39 (1980).

All of the tenets for life were given completely in the Ten Commandments...over time the secular world has created the 'Industry of Idiocy' better known as the Legal System which routinely succumbs to whimsical folly and self-interest .

My Take,

Perhaps the only thing B HUSSEIN O promised that he is doing:
...and we see it coming true...a fundamental transformation of America .

people just do not believe or want many things we assume they would..

1. people do not want freedom, (when they understand what freedom is). People now believe the government has all the answers and will protect them.
2. people do not have principles or strong belief, they listen to the news, liberal or conservative, creating their opinions from newscast. next week completely different opinions depending on news story.
3. There is no accountability or true punishment for doing wrong. ever thing is justified by social issues or daily opinions again from our news people
4. might as well get use to Christianity being laughed at and ridiculed, this will cleanse the unfaithful from the faithful. Bible clearly states this. I am ready to make my stand.
5. as long as the bills get paid, have a car home, and toys with money left over for Saturday night fun, then who cares what happens in the world.

there is much more but that would be a long read. just remember, "if life is to short , then eternity will be too long "
