Just signed up with Pandora (for Smartphone, home, car, desktop, etc.) and was thinking... what music source do you all use the most in your vehicle?

What I use most is the AM/FM. I have the base system with the single CD player. I do have a few favorite CDs I like to play also. I upgraded from stock speakers to Kickers and that helped a bunch.

I leave my radio off.

When I want some noise I mash the skinny pedal...

Best surround sound available.

Mostly XM. When I'm by myself it's mostly tuned to the news. Fox news. Every now and then if I want a laugh, I'll switch to MSNBC.

While my tunes preference leans toward classic rock and country - I took some time to transfer my vast vinyl collection to mp3, enhanced them and loaded each one on my sans disk for my mobile phone. I applied industrial strength velcro strips to the top of my ash tray and the back of my phone to keep it from sliding around while I am driving. Then, I purchased a lead with a microphone and plug it into the aux of the stereo and the headphone of my mobile. Works like a charm for me! Plus, if a phone call comes in, while I am out driving, the music stops and I simply answer the phone without ever having to pick it up. The caller's voice comes through the speakers loud and clear and the lead microphone serves it's purpose for me to talk back while I have both hands on the wheel (and in this city, you need both hands on the wheel!).

I rarely turn the radio on, just listen to the motor.

I have been using the sirius/xm, but cannot see the songs. I am looking for a 6 disc changer deck as they display the song info. If anyone has one, let me know. I will even send you mine back.
