Trump Bucks -> Audio Build

Pulling together the parts for my build.

Deck: Alpine ILX-F259
Speakers: Audiofrog GB15 & GB 60
Amp: Phoenix Gold SX2 800.4 & 1200.1
DSP: Helix DSP Mini
Sub: ??

It seems every time I build a setup, I add a bit more, go a bit higher end. Lord, I hope this is about the top for me. The stereo in my F150 was clean and crisp, but just didn't get quite as loud as I wanted. So, I've got more amplification and better components. I'm also going to run just a front stage and go full active with the DSP. The F150 had a DSP, but I didn't run it full active as I had a Match DSP with built in amplifier, not enough channels to go active. I'm really looking foward to hearing this all put in.

I really need to stop talking with my dealer... He's been a friend and my supplier for over 15 years now.
Once I get all the equipment in hand, I'm going to try and figure out where to stuff it all in the Reg Cab!

And decide on a subwoofer too... JL W7 perhaps?

Just picked up my toys this weekend. Oh man...

He's got a similar (3 way front stage) setup in his F250. Wowza.
Audio Nirvana. So F'n clear.

I'm stoked

Oh I know. What's the best way to stimulate the economy other than from a local small business owner?

So, if I had spent my Trump Bucks on baby chickens I could have "Money for nothing, and my chicks for free."

I wish it was original, but I laughed either way.

Here's the glorious GB15 tweeter. This thing is massive and built like a machinist work of art. It's going to just barely cover the factory speaker hole in the dash.

I'm tempted to mount it below, but the factory grill bars are awful for covering up tweeters, ok for a mid-bass but not a tweet. Nothing like cuttin up my brand new dash panel (not surprisingly, the one in the truck is cracked into about 5 pieces).
