Truck died. Need a new battery..

So my battery finally kicked the bucket. I got it in 2009 and it ran strong till now. Haven't had a battery issue since. When I got it I didn't do much research and just bought an optima red top. I gotta go pick one up today and I thoght I'd check with you guys on what you recommend. Should I go with another red top or what do you think?

The Optima batteries aren't what they used to be (if they ever were). I bought my last two from Advance. The Ram's battery was $114 after coupons, discounts, etc. The 300's batter was also from Advance. An Optima will likely cost twice as much and last about the same time.

Optima red top, your paying for the gel technology that never corrodes and the great 100% swap out if it goes bad, none of that pro-rated crap. They don't last any longer, just a better battery.

All it needs to do is make the starter twist the motor over. I can buy two conventional batteries for the price of one Optima, and there's no way an Optima will last 12-14 years.

As for the "warranty", it's no better than the warranty on the battery in my Ram, which was just a bit over a c-note. Both have a 36-month replacement.
