Finally got the system together and installed. Went with the JVC KW-AVX710 head unit, Foxbox 10" driver side under seat box, Polk Audio sub, and the ARK KS 300w mini amp, pioneer front and rear door speakers.
So far I would call it only sufficient. The h/u doesn't have separate woofer controls so the doors are getting the bass as well causing distortion if tuned up. So, I am waiting for a different h/u to correct this. Thinking I might put bass blockers on the doors for a temporary remedy. So far the bass from the woofer/amp is exactly what I was looking for. In it's current mild tune, to salvage the door speakers, even with the doors open you really not notice the bass outside of the truck. Get in and close the doors and you get a nice massage from the music. needs to be cleaned up with the separate bass from the doors, but I wanted depth that I could roll down the windows when cruising and not get a 'disturbing the peace' ticket. I would grade it at about 80% for what I'm aiming for. I took pics but of course I don't have the camera with me to post.

4 ch amp would solve that issue and sound better just use the HPF and bye bye bass to speakers.

I am replacing the head unit with one that has the Sub controls, crossover and HPF/LPF built in. My wifes T/A has the same power so I know it is plenty capable, just gotta fix it and do it up right. That's what I get for not doing the research first. *Shame on me*
