Does the stock head unit have pre-outs to send to an aftermarket amp? I have the Infinity system and 6-disk. If not, is there an adapter to make it work? Would like to retain the 6-disk if possible.

Also, does anyone have experience with this type of underseat box? Looking to add a single JL Audio 10W3 or 12W3 under rear driver side seat. Concerned about the physical dimensions, and also the performance of this type of small box.

I know the reg stock head unit doesnt have outputs. But Yes there is an adapter that most amp come with to hook up the amp. The sound quality isnt as good. As for the box i have one that holds 2 12" jl w3 subs that fits under the back seat. So that one should work for you.

I am adding a complete MTX audio system and I did need to purchase the adapter kit so I could keep my stock stero. I wanted to keep my system as stock looking as possible so hopefully it will not attract unwanted attention.
