Reg cab enclosure build

Hello, new here, just thought I would post my progress. I hope to have the boxes and tray sprayed with bed liner in a couple weeks.

I'm using putfile for the pics, hopefully they'll post.

Thanks, I always enjoy new forum's.
J Sell:
I haven't hooked it all up yet. The boxes and trays are still bare, I will be having them sprayed with black Rhino Liner the first week of February. Once thats done I just have to wait a little longer to get the Epicenter Plus and an amp kit. I left most of my stereo components in my car when I traded it, so I need a couple of things for final hookup. I'm very excited to be thumping again though.

nope:
Yes and no, the center tray has dual purposes. I will mount the amp and capacitor on the lower tray and my reasoning for raising a second tray was primarily to hold stuff. I just couldn't justify buying a prefab'd box that took up the entire behind seat area. I wanted the luxury of enclosures and a place to keep my crap. It trial and error through a couple tray ideas before I used the threaded rods to raise raise the tray.

Hey, thanks again.

No, the subs don't touch the seat, when we have the seats at the desired reclined position I measured to have the top of the boxes touching the seat and the angle keeps the subs about 2 inches from touching the bottom of the seat. I don't remember the specific excursion of the subs at full power but I'm pretty sure its not more than 2".

The closer I get to completion, the more antsy I get, its been about a year since I've had the bass. I have a complete How-To on Dodgetalk but I will definately keep posted here as well as I progress.

The top width is 15"
height 22.5"
top depth 6"
bottom depth 11"

The airspace is 1.19cf I was hoping to get 1.5 but its not the end of the world, I'll probably just put in a little poly fill.
