I finally got a "Stubby" antenna. It from Cravenspeed.

How is it? I've been planning on getting this for a while and for some reason I haven't pulled the trigger.

I haven't noticed a difference in reception. But I live in a big city. I plug my phone in most of the time so I wasn't to concerned.

I'm pretty much all city. I had one previous from eBay but I listened to XM while I had the subscription so I didn't really use the radio reception. I took it off because it got way to faded by the sun. It went from grey and "carbon fiber" to straight bronze. No longer looked good.

Nice. I put one on mine also. There is some interference, but I like the look so I can live with it.

Bought the same one over a year ago . My reception DID suffer but I'm in the country and don't really care .

I have had the same one for almost a year now.

Sometimes it HAS to be form over function. Looks good.

I've been going back and forth over this issue as well. I am about half hour outside Atlanta, and listen to the radio to and from work. I had heard that reception was an issue for the stubbies. Too bad, I really like the looks of it.

Take your antenna off for a couple days. I would think that would give you a pretty good idea whether you'll like it or not.
