Lock pic

Has anyone installed a locpix in a 2011 truck with a center console? Not sure how to get all the parts removed without breaking something.

do you mean lock pick for the stereo? if so no big deal, theres a few hidden screws but you take off the cover on the bottom ( console and shifter area) then you can take off the front cover ( stereo) ..theres one hidden screw on the 120v plug thats a bas***d to get out. pretty much all the pockets with the rubber cover on the bottom have screws hidden in them...and a butterknife works wond3er to get the chrome trim ring off .

Sorry guys...Lock Pick MyGig V5 is an add on the allows you to program your navigation system while in motion, or have your passenger do it, as well as watch videos, check your rear view camera while going forward and has the ability to add a front camera, side cameras and even a baby cam...only 4 at a time.

Newfies on the right track. I don't want to break my chrome ring around the gear shift or any of the other "hidden" fasteners.

Thanks for the link! Lots of great pictures. I just might not break anything. No I'm sure I'll break something. It's the way I manage to do things.

Well we finally got it installed today... Only one hiccup in the deal. It was cold so it had to be done in the garage. No room for anything in our garage. So like every good Redneck I had to set things where ever I could to get them out of the way....like the hood and roof of Mary's loaner car. She came out and said she had to go to town.... I told her to wait and as soon as I could get my hands empty I would remove the things from her car. "No, no", she said she would do it and the did and left.....except for the chrome piece that surrounds the gear shifter that was on the roof. I found it about an hour later in the road 100 yards down the road. Run over, most of the tabs broken off and the chrome destroyed. Needless to say I wasn't a happy camper, but "stuff" happens. The programming is fairly easy but remembering the sequence to get to some things will take a little getting use to...not that I'm adding turn or front cameras.
