Kicker Upgrade disaster part 2. It never ends...

All-

I do appreciate all the suggestions from my previous post regarding the 4 Kicker DS600 speakers I installed in my Quad cab.
Now that I believe everyone has agreed that those speakers simply do NOT have any bass capacity ( Even less than stock ), I have moved on to trying to salvage something from the system. Would you all suggest 2 10" woofers, a single 10, or a single 12". PLease keep in mind that I have an amp and a set of tens matched already, so I could just move them over to a stealth box for under my seats. BUT....I do not want to go overkill, and I see a couple deals on single 12" set ups with Kicker Comps. I would then just have to make sure my amp was a match.
Any suggestions?? I listen to everything from Johnny Cash to Rage Against the Machine....so I don't want anything too single minded.

THanks-

Ryan

I think a single 10 or 12 in a box either under the rear seat or in a center box would be fine if you just want some bass in the truck, not to be heard around the block, which will probably just get your truck broken into anyway.

if you already have them so why not use them?
the price of the enclosure it's about the same, and there will be no regrets after!

I have the exact same musical taste as you (I actually have a Johnny Cash CD and a RATM CD in the head unit right now). A single 10" kicker in my mega cab is perfect, but I have the infinity 7 speaker factory system, too.

i have an autotek 15in 700 rms sub with an autotek 750rms amp and the stock head unit. it pounds when u wanna crank it but its got a knob so u can turn it up and down. it sounds really good with rap/ country/ rock/ whatever u can throw at it really. if anyone wants to see pics lemme know ill take some when i get back to michigan and have time. its a great setup but im switching to a hifonics 10 or 12 as soon as i get my fiberglass box done

I had 2 10" kicker subs and an amp in a stealth box under the back seat in my quad cab and it sounded great, and you already have them
