So I have had my alarm for awhile and from the get go I have had electrical issues due to shotty installation.

Anyways it started out with my electric start not starting my truck. It would turn over but not crank up and now it does nothing at all. So if anyone has suggestions on this issue it would be great!

But the much more important issue I am recently having which I really need solved is the locks. My key pad will arm and disarm my alarm and when arming the truck it will lock my doors, however it will not unlock when I hit the disarm button but will disarm the alarm so I have to use my key to actually get into the truck. This is very frustrating when you have alot of things you are carrying. Anyway suggestions on one or both of these issues would be great. Funds are a little low or I would get another alarm but will see what happens. Thanks.

I would read the install instructions until I understood what was done and then go over thee install and correct the connections that have fallen apart or incorrectly made. I assumed everything worked as it should when you picked up the truck after the install. Good luck..

Best buy failed to tighten the power suply bolt to the fuse box on mine. it would start some times, and some times the whole truck would shut down while diving. girl freind had it put on as gift. i had to follow the instructions to find out what was loose. she ws not real happy when she got the manager and showed them what the had done.

Yep. A poor connection or two could cause problems. Some of those "installers" are notorious for doing crappy work.
