don't run the power and speaker wires together, if you do have to cross them do it at a 90 deg angle. get your amp power directly from the battery not the fuse pannel. lastly when i was younger i always bought cheaper equipment and had nothing but problems with noise feedback, when i did my amp sub install in my Ram i used Kicker components right down to the wiring harness and have ZERO engine noise issues. don't know if quality equipment has anything to do with eliminating noise issues but i'm sure it didn't hurt LOL.

Make sure you have a good Ground Connection. Also make sure that your Ground wire is no longer than about 18 inches.

my rca cables arent ran next to the power wire they are actually on opposite sides of the truck. ive done alot of installs and this is the first time i have ever had this problem and i have always used the wiring kits from wal-mart maybe i just have a bad set of rca cables.i have an extra set so i will try those and ill check the amp ground tomorrow.

it might just be your amp RCA input, sometimes the ground connection of the RCA brakes inside the amp or the RCA connectors ground is touching the metal.
It's definitely a ground problem

some cheaper amps will burn out the diode inside the radio put a ground wire from your radio to the place you grounded your amplifier, and if that still dosent work, take a ground from there also and ground out the outside part of the rca cable, where it attaches inputs to outputs, should get you quieter, but deff have a ground issue!

Asside from all of the good advice already given, make sure the RCA isn't near any sources of interference like power motors (ac blower) etc.
