Audio question...

I know how to operate the power button for the radio... that's the extent of my truck audio knowledge

I'd like to get a subwoofer... nothing fancy that requires a separate amp or separate power.

I bought the truck used... the previous owner had a subwoofer under the passenger rear seat. He took it out before trading

Any suggestions on what I should get?

Here's a pic of the wires that he left...

Audio question...

And I JUST found a hole that was drilled under the carpet

I patched the hole... I'm assuming a power wire went through it for the sub???

Audio question...

Went by a local audio place this morning and showed the guy my truck... he is pretty sure the previous owner removed the factory subwoofer!!

I have the Alpine 9 speaker system... no wonder there's no good bass to it

Got an email in to Art to see how much an OE sub would cost (like the one you have Morris).

Audio question...

Mark go with the Kicker.i have 2 12" kicker competition underneath my back seat.that hole i am willing to bet was for the ground wire to the chasis.you should be able to run the power wire along the moldings by your doors and out near your pedals there should be a grommet to get into the engine bay.

Audio question...

Went with the OE subwoofer... mainly because its easy plug & play, fits perfectly under seat, etc.
503 watts, 10 speaker system is good enough for me

The other 9 speakers sound so much better now since they don't have to compensate for a lack of a sub. Here's a pic of the sub installed...

Thanks Art
