Any tips??

Today my Alpine will be here from Crutchfield. I'm taking out my factory radio w/6 disk cd changer. Is there anything I should look out for/be aware of? Or tips that'll make it go easier.
Thanks!

I would say just take your time with the trim parts coming off so they dont break. Crutchfield used to send a wire adapter with the radios so you dont have to cut the harness anymore. Im not sure what else there is that I have messed up with in the past. Make sure that if the adapter doesnt have the speaker wire connections that you do it pos to pos and neg to neg on the speakers becasue it will lose its bass signal if it isnt.

No It won't fit.
Just make sure you got the screws out (If there are any) and pull gently on the bezel. You may want to try something flat and plastic to help if you need it. Go slow and if you get stuck, let us know.

My advice is to make sure you eject all of your cd's. Might sound simple, but some people, ahem.., have forgot to do that in the past.

Well it'll be Tuesday before I get it in now. I had to order a wiring adapter since I have factory amp. Soooo I have to wait now. Another 80 squids.
