The panic alarm in our truck seems to have a mind of its own at times. The horn will start honking and the lights flash for no reason at times. This evening, my wife was sitting in the truck while I was inside a building, and all of a sudden the doors locked and the alarm started sounding. I came out and tried to cancel the alarm with my fob, but that did not work. I opened the door and the center display indicated "Remote Start Disabled". I hit the brake and pushed the start button, the engine started and the alarm shut off.
This is not the first time the alarm has sounded for no apparent reason. I am at the point of disabling the alarm, and I will if I can find out how.'
Anyone else have such an issue?
Thanks and take care everyone!
