4th Gen Crew Cab Speaker

This has probably been brought up in past threads but I didnt see anything pertaining which I did a quick search . But im looking to change out my current speakers in my '10 Ram and wanting to see what others went with. Im keeping the stockhead unit and I know the speakers are 6x9 in the doors and 3.5 in the dash? Any info would help. Thanks in Advance

It may or may not have dash speakers. Make sure you use capacitors in the dash speakers. Otherwise, the bass will kill 'em too soon. 6x9 two-ways in the front doors, 6 1/2" round most likely in the rear doors.

Crutchfield has lots of good info and tech support.

I also put some Polks in last fall, DXi691 6x9s in the doors and and DXi521 5-1/4s in the back (I got no rear doors ) and I am pretty happy with them. I wanted to keep the stock head unit, so I added a Kicker powered sub for a little bass hoping that would complete the package. Now it sounds pretty damn good but needs more power! I'm not sure which way I'm going at this point, either an amp or a new head unit. Also looking at a pair of 3.5s for the dash (no speakers there now). Careful, Mod Monkeys like audio, too

Good luck!

I purchased my Polk Audio speakers from Crutchfield, always have ordered from them for all my audio needs.

I have dash speakers in mine. And its 6x9 in all 4 doors, already verified that. I usually run Focals but wanting to chang it up and run something else. Not wanting to dump the money into my truck like I did on my 09 JKU stereo system. Ive looked into the Infinity's which would pretty much make it like an upgraded stock system from the factory. Just wanting better clarity than whats in it now, but like I also mentioned I'll be keeping the stock headunit which is the Factory screen/Nav. Also have a custom rear console that will house a 12 for a little bit of bass. Ill definately check into the DXi's
