2 questions? _ need help!

What size is the front dash speakers? 5.25??

Also, installing an amp and want to know what all the settings are. What is the gain ect..., ect...

I know you stereo guys can give me a quick lesson.

I have 2 door Kenwood excellon 475 wt/100 rms and 2 rear Polk 150 wt rms in boxes in the rear as well as 2 infinity reference in back panel ( geting rid of them )

I'm not looking for a super loud thumping bass sound. I want clean clear sound mostly. So what kind of settings do I do on the amp??

Thanks

1st - Front dash speakers are 3 1/2.

2nd - Amp settings are for your own ears. Different speakers and different amps will produce different sounds so what I've done is turn the volume to about 3/4 then set amp from that point. Not all the way up but below distortion levels. Hope this helps.

Gain: basically a power level

high/low pass: high pass cuts off/down bass frequencies. low pass cuts off/down mids and highs

High pass: blocks the low frequincies from going to your door/dash speakers. Keeps them from getting too much bass, used when running a sub.

Low pass: blocks the high frequincies from the sub.

You shouldn't have to worry about these unless you are running a sub.

I usually dont mess with the gain myself.
