07' ram VES.

While playing a DVD on the overhead player can you hook it up so the video will also show on the in-dash radio?

I dont know how but i'm sure theres a way. It is illegal to drive with the video playing within the drivers sight. I was told it is a very hefty fine. I had my Pioneer flip out screen wired where it would play while driving. The tech at best buy wouldnt do it but told me how. He also advised me it was a $2500 fine. Whether or not its really that much i dont know.

Yes you need a lock pick system my 2012 plays the video allows map navigation and address typing while in motion it also allows me to use rest view camera flying down the road.

Thanks ATX but I think I'm willing to take the chance. My kids hate wearing the headphones and I cant stand listening to a movie. Not that I plan on staring at it while I'm driving down the road but a glance every so often would be nice. I have done a little research on a lock pick system, can you give me more information about how to achieve this. Thanks.
