Ever since I purchased the truck back in March, there has been a hesitation at WOT. So I decided to clean the throttle body and change out the PCV to see if that would help out. Jury's still out, I can feel and hear the difference but the bog still happens time to time. But no where near what it was. The O2's are next.

Turn key to on position...do not start...wait until ALL dash lights, bells and whistles go off...SLOWLY depress accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and SLOWLY release pedal back to normal up position...it should be ready to start and work fine :thumb:.
------------------------------------ Really don't know about your specific application...I just installed a new custom TB and followed those instructions exactly...did not have to disconnect the negative side of the battery or do anything else other than what was mentioned above...it reset perfectly and the SuperChip performance tune still is intact and working fine.
The manual actually says after performing a reset to turn ignition on, wait 10 seconds without touching the throttle, turn key off. And then start normally. I have personally gotten better results by depressing the throttle as discribed. I first noticed this after installing a tune and it not settling in like I expected and then going wot. The tune immediately settled in as I had first expected it to. Since then anytime I reset or load a tune I do a APPS calibration immediately afterwards.
Tuning the 05 is straight forward. Tuning the 03 is black art, where there is a precise formula that must be followed each and every time so the results can be analyzed consistently using known changes. Full moon and the sacrificing a chicken or two can help with some idle problems.

Storytime: The use of chickens is a long held tradition with great powers. I had a well dug a few years back and they brought in the local Shaman to perform the rites before the digging started. I had bought a couple chickens and he cut the heads off and flung blood all over the place, chanted a few magical spells and started to head back to his house.. I asked him if he wasn't going to hangout and witness the success of the blessing. I was told he had to get back home to cook dinner.
I heard that choking the chicken helps a bit too. SEG
