2500 springs fit a 1500???

I have a 06 ram 1500 and I need to replace the front struts to put a leveling kit in because all the bolts are seized and have to get torched off, and I was curious if its possible to put 2500 springs in when I replace everything so I can run a aftermarket steel bumper on and not have to worry about the front end going out. And also if it would lift the front end enough to get it leveled so I wouldn't need to use the leveling kit.

Don't have any idea on that one. Some one will be along shortly to assist.

But, TO HTC

I have been looking into the same thing. I don't know if it is possible with just a leveling kit, but I read about a fella who took the springs from a 5.9L Gas 2500 Coils and put them on his 1999 Laramie 1500 around some ProComp ES3000. I think its doable its just takes work mapping out the specs.

You can also talk to a spring shop about making a spring suited for your needs.
