Trans acting funny

Noticed the other day goin up an on ramp truck almost getsconfused downshifting from cruise speed to 4 or 3. It will kick down a gear and stutter fove or six times then kick down another gear. Worse when cold but even when warmed up sometimes you can tell its actin a little off. All up shifts are clean and even the kickdowns to 1st are solid.

I have a Diablo sport T 1000. Can I get it off of that? And how do I do it? While driving or just while it’s idling? And what does that tell me?

Aaah. Gotcha. I have a buddy that is a Dodge Trans guy. WOrks out of his house now. Trying to get w him. It’s crazy I’m having issues like this at 62,000 miles. And I drive 80% highway for work. This truck has been nothing but a headache since I got it. It’s my sixth Dodge truck and by far the worst one I’ve had. So I assume if it needs a rebuild I need to tune it back to stock before I have either him or especially a dealer for inspection purposes on the extended warranty?

One thing I’ve noticed as well is it seems like it only does it if it’s trying to jump two gears. If I just ease into it and drop it one gear at a time it doesn’t seem to be an issue. But I need to play with it more and pay more attention.

Sound's like torque management kicking in. (You giving it throttle) Could be tune related. Could try taking the tuner off and see if it act's different.

I just reinstalled the tune again. We will see if that refreshes anything. My buddy said it sounds more than likely a software issue or maybe a valve body cold weather issue. Im not gonna sweat it too much unless it really starts actin up actoss the shifts.
