December 1, 2003; Colorado Custom has designed new billet aluminum engine and interior accent accessories for the 2003 Dodge Ram (1/2- and 3/4-ton models). Each CNC-machined piece is cut from high-quality T6061-T6 billet aluminum and is polished to a mirror finish. Currently available for Dodge's wildly popular pickup is an injection air box cover, fuse box cover, oil dip stick cover, coolant cap, oil fill cap, junction box cover, valve covers, spark plug cable looms and 12" speaker covers. Colorado Custom plans to introduce additional pieces for the Ram over time. Installation of Colorado Custom's billet aluminum accent accessories is quick and simple, with no drilling or special tools required. Each cap and cover can be positioned overtop its matching OE part and pressed into place, applying only slight pressure. Speaker covers are installed using only an allen wrench. All pieces are backed by Colorado Custom's one-year warranty. COLORADO CUSTOM'S 2003 DODGE RAM HEMI "IMAGE" TRUCK TO DEBUT AT SEMA 2003 Carrying out the Hemi legend, Colorado Custom will give the Ram and custom bike a black and classic "Charger Green" two-tone paint scheme. The Ram bed and cab will be modified to allow the motorcycle to be transported upright in the bed with the tailgate closed. "We're excited to have been selected by DaimlerChrysler to build a Ram Hemi and demonstrate how easy it is to personalize this truck with aftermarket accessories," said Al Manes, president and founder, Colorado Custom. Colorado Custom will outfit the Ram Hemi with 22" billet aluminum wheels. The company also will produce interior and under-hood billet aluminum dress-up pieces for the Ram, including fluid caps, switches, knobs and pedals.
